Q: Does this chair hold in heat or is it breathable fabric?

A: Chair is solid canvas on seat and back, no mesh. On a hot summer day you will want to drape a towel over so you don't sweat. Otherwise it's fine like most chairs.

A: The only concern would be if the shocks got sand inside of them. If sand does however find its way into them, they can be opened up and rinsed out with water. If you are taking the chair to the beach

I love my new rocker lawn chair! It is very comfortable. The only thing I have trouble with is that it takes some strength to fold up -- I'm hoping that will change when I've used it a while.

This is only our second season of using the rocket chair for camping and the seat completely split out. It’s my husband‘s chair and he’s only like 200 pounds so I feel this did this very prematurely. I was very disappointed.

We have had these chairs for one season. It hasn’t even been a full year. The frame is intact. Not so much for the material. It seemed to just dry rot. Since the chair is riveted, no way to remove it to replace. I’ll not buy any products from this company again.

While the chair is comfortable it is a shame they do not stand by their product. After having for only a year the seams on one of my chairs totally disintegrated. The folks in warranty told me to kick rocks as it is normal “wear and tear”. If disintegrating is a years time is not a manufacturer defect than I don’t know what is. Don’t by these if you want to waste your money in only a years time. What a shame GCI! Do better!

I really like this chair. It's comfortable, sturdy, and pretty easy to fold up and carry around. The cup holder is small and hangs down a lot when you put a big bottle in it.
