Q: Does the mechanism lock or does the chair always rock?

A: The rocker shocks do not lock on our rockers, you will stay relatively still if not actively pushing back to rock but the chairs will never be fully staitionary.

Q: Can this chair be used at the beach near sand?

A: The only concern would be if the shocks got sand inside of them. If sand does however find its way into them, they can be opened up and rinsed out with water. If you are taking the chair to the beach or other sandy area, we suggest you make sure the yellow top of the shock is tightly secured to prevent the sand from getting inside the canister. The chair should be rinsed with fresh water, and you’ll want to make sure the chair is dried off well before storing.

Expensive chair with fragile upholstery
Similar to other review here, I have had a consistent experience with the fragility of of this product. I used this chair on my patio during the summer, and the material simply does not hold up to the outdoors. "Disintegration" is not an over-statement here. All the seams are falling apart and even the nylon straps are crumbling to the touch.

Cheap Fabric disintegrates.
I bought this last fall , used it twice and put it in the garage. Took it out this week to take camping for Labor Day weekend and I opened it up to check for any spiders that may have found their way in the carry bag and after inspecting the chair I found the edging material was disintegrating just by touching it and rubbing between my fingers it was turning to dust like material! Why make a chair like this and not have any UV Sun protection?? It’s a camp chair you can’t take outside or use camping! Waist of money! Would NOT Recommend!

Two falls in these crappy chairs
My dad bought two of these crappy chairs and twice he’s fallen. Not even rocking in it; he’s flipped over not once but twice. This last time the chair broke. They are trash and he’s recovering from hand surgery!! Absolute worst. Will be contacting customer service Monday morning!!

Baseball momma
I got this for my wife to be able to sit and watch our son play baseball. She loves it, at first she wasnt too sure of the design but once she figured out how to slide down in it, she absolutely loves it. The only complaint she has is the cup holder is a little small but other than that it is ideal.

Avoid at all cost.. Look elsewhere
Sadly these chairs do not last! The fabric breaks down and the company will not help after a year. You also cannot replace the fabric as its attached to the frame. Such a massive waste of materials m, frame becomes trash, even though the frame is the best part of this chair as it does actually last. Will not be buying this brand of chairs again, company does not stand by there product.

Love this rocker, perfect for a new mom with little space
Comfortable and rocks well. I used it indoors to rock my infant. I had a fussy baby who loved to be rocked and didnt have room for a rocking chair and didn't want one because my other children play on them to much! This was the perfect solution and a great buy! Good for short term use.
Purchased the pod recliner about three years ago. Canvas dried out and split at the seams. Tried to find replacent fabric but they do not sell. Framework still like new because not used much. Expensive product for limited timeframe of use before fabric fails. Good foe short term life.
