These bulbs give off the perfect cozy glow. I have them in little lamps around the house, and at night, when we turn off the main lights, everything is aglow in a soft, warm light, and the world feels okay, even if for a moment. I have bought 3 packs of these bulbs. Not because they have burned out, but because I want them in nearly every room of the house, because they are my favorite lightbulb. Is that weird to have a favorite light bulb? Who can know.

I mean... they light up, which is their primary purpose. However, these are labeled “dimmable” with the box showing six gradients, but they have only two brightness levels in my lamps: full and dim. The dim level is not a warm light; it casts an odd, eerie glow in a small halo, similar to that of UV plant lights in an indoor vegetable garden rack. The screw-in part is also about 1.5 times as long as my various other E12 incandescent bulbs/sockets, so it doesn’t screw in all the way.

I ordered these to use in my outside porch and garage lights. I have other GE LEDs, but they are now calling this particular light "soft white" vs. the former "warm white". The good news is that it is still a much more soothing light than the harsh white LEDs you see. Oddly, the bulbs also look nothing like the package shown. They are a fully transparent bulb with two yellowish filaments inside. If you like the more natural soft or warm white color, these are the way to go.
HD Light and warm tone are perfect for the bedroom.

I love that fire look. From a distance they look like it’s natural gas lighting. I will never go back to a regular lightbulb again. Plus, they last longer and save on money in the long run. I love the amazing perfection and saving the environment. It’s a double win for my household. Plus, the LED helps the crystals look so much better. They shine more and we have beautiful prisms on the wall too.

They give off a bright light, but it's a warmer light than most white/blue LED light bulbs, so you don't get the blinding glare in more intimate locations. I love that I'll also save money on my electric bill.

I tried to put it in my small light fixture, but the bulb is too long, so it doesn't fit that either. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the bulb, but it didn't fit in anything I could use it for.
