I keep it plugged up next to my desk and it accommodates to my needs :) I do notice that when I use the USB ports, my phone doesn’t charge as fast as I expected, so I use the USB ports to power my USB powered devices instead of charging. It is a little bulky so it if you plan on using behind furniture you will need to keep it far away from wall. Other than that I like it!

With it having 5 plugs instead of just two I use it at my desk so I can hook all of my computer equipment up without the use of a drop cord. With the offset design it makes it much easier to use keeping the cords out of each others way. It also looks better more form fitting to the wall. The USB connections are great as well for using with my ear buds and phone or tablet. So the options are endless using it. I would highly recommend for a quality product from a great company.

I have a space to work on my planes models and I have to use a lot of different tools, so with this outlet I can have 5 tools connected at the same time ( also the design make this possible) plus my cellphone. I highly recommend this for any house hold that using things that are usb.

Comes with a surge protector that will shut off automatically when surge protection expires. I like that it doesn't protrude out of the wall so much, its great for behind a desk.

There are 4 adapter outlets on the sides (2 on each side) and one on the front. On the front it also has 2 outlet duplex for charging your phone, or tablet, this feature is very nice to have and convenient. The tap covers our whole outlet, makes it look nice like that.

It's not very big, but has outlets for plugs, and it's own separate plugs to directly put a phone cord in without having to use an adapter! I used this next to my bed, but I spend alot of time in the living room, and found myself transporting the outlet back and forth so that I could charge the tablets and phones during the day, and at night. I'm definitly going to buy another one, because it saves on space without having to have cords to charge devices around the whole house...now it's just in one spot. I kinda wish it was a little flatter, or flattering looking, but it honestly gets the job done and really helps when one of my adapters goes out. I'm happy with it, and very convenient nowadays with homes usually having multiple devices.

I have 2 phones, a tablet, and several rechargeable batteries I use and charge daily. But a power station can take up valuable space. I am so happy with my new GE 5-Outlet Grounded Tap, 2 USB Ports I am now able to power or charge up to 7 items with ease and without using up valuable space on my nightstand or counter. I like that it has five grounded outlets to plug into and two USB ports that are great for charging smart devices. This Surge Protector is the perfect gadget to have around the house when you do not have enough places to plug into for power while keeping your electronics safe. I can charge up to two smart devices, with the USB ports eliminating the use of the other outlets. I had to use a regular outlet to do so in the past. By using the USB ports frees up two outlets for me. I also like the design that goes with my decor. My favorite feature is the surge protector automatic shutdown when it reaches the end of use (life). This GE UltraPro USB Charging Surge Protector is a great quality product I highly recommend.

I like the usb ports built in rather than having to use the plugs, it just let's me free up and not have to use a power strip anymore. It only plugs into the top outlet of a standard 2 outlet. The outlet charging speed is normal, the usb has 2.4w of power. overall this is a nice alternative to a surge protector as this also will kill power in a surge situation.

I think the best feature of this outlet is that it feels solid and it connects with the wall outlet really solidly. It doesn't feel like it's going to fall out and you don't really need to hold on to it to plug something in. The USB outlets are just really nice!

On the kitchen counter walls, in the bedroom, behind a desk, even behind the couch! It converts your typical 2 plug outlet into 5 outlets with the 2 USB ports. With the design having 4 of the plug outlets off to the sides, it prevents furniture from unplugging your electronics. It also protects appliances and devices from power surges! I am most happy with the fact that I can plug this into my outlets and know that my expensive appliances and electronics are safe from power surges! It is also nice to not have cables and plugs everywhere. With so many new products requiring the USB port to charge, I appreciate having the ports right there in the outlet instead of having to add a bulky usb cube. I have added this behind my desk which helps me to connect one power strip from one of the power adapter and other remaining port can use it for my other devices. It also have two USB ports that I can use to charge my cellphone and other devices behind my desk. It has side design that consume very less space and I can plug the adapter from the sides. It can also use it behind the sofa where I always have the issue to plug my charging adapters. It might have issue if I have to use the larger adapters for some of the devices other than overall, it is really good and convenient.
