Q: Can I use this in the UK with an adapter?
A: CJC, thank you for your question. No, this item is not dual voltage. The U.S. uses 120V/60Hz, while the UK uses 230V/50Hz. The GE 81597 is not rated for 220–240V, so you cannot safely use it in the UK with just a plug adapter. Doing so could damage the device or pose a fire risk.
