Warning - the cord is offset from the plug
The cord is offset to the right from the plug. Typically a cord just runs straight down from the plug. This odd offset may be great if you want your cord to run to the right along your wall, but if you want your cord to run straight down or to the left it creates an odd loop. I find it very annoying. Companies should stop trying to add features that create more problems than they solve.

I bought 2 of these extension cords and they worked like a charm! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually received the Ultra Pro Surge Protector from Influenster and GE in exchange for my honest review, not the 3 outlet grounded extension cord. I work from home and have a computer and 2 monitors on my desk plus a desk lamp. I had another surge protector but it only had 3 outlets, so I either had to unplug the lamp or use one monitor. The Ultra Pro surge protector has 9 separate outlets- 3 on top plus 3 on each side that are far enough apart to allow you to plug in items with an adapter, vs covering 2 outlets with other surge protectors. I also like the 6ft long cord - it has a flat plug making it easy to connect when your desk is adjacent to or covers the wall outlet. A light on the side comes on when plugged in to show you that the surge protector is working properly. I was very excited to receive this quality item as it is making my work life easier
