Bulbs work just as expected.

So far so good regarding the quality and life of the lightbulb. It’s not too yellow and does well with other lighting conditions.

Bulb started dimming and eventually smoked and burnt. Second bulb on a different lamp started to dim the same way.

These have already lasted quite a while (I bought another brand of LED bulbs elsewhere that burned out quickly). I also like the warmer, not harsh, light it gives. I had a hard time finding quality 40-watt bulbs, so was happy to find these.

I used 1 on a target lamp for my entryway. It is bright enough and not too yellow.

Perfect light for reading and not so bright that it irritates my eyes before bed. Great value. Trusted brand and long lasting bulbs.

I love that they're dimmable and use less energy. I have them in my home office and set them on the lowest setting for a low key night or turn them up when I have a lot of reading and work to do. I have four of the GE LED 40-Watt Light Bulbs in my bathroom above the medicine chest. And let me tell you they provide such a natural, crisp daylight. It allows for me to put my make up on so much easier, and balanced. I don't look like such a clown anymore. Also I can see much easier to pluck all my pesky little eyebrow hairs. The bulb itself is dimmable, I like this concept when I am wanting to take a nice relaxing bath before bed. The GE Led light bulbs are cost efficient, they help to lower your energy bill by not putting out so much heat. I can not speak to the longevity of them as I have not had them that long. I will definitely be replacing all my light bulbs with GE Led Light Bulbs.

I use them in my living room ceiling fan's light fixture where I also have bright recessed lighting when I need something more. These have lasted well even when we forget to turn off the lights. They aren't decorative bulbs, but they work great when there is a shade over the bulb.
