Q: The phone charger/adaptor that came with my phone has 5.0V and 1.0 amp output, so what is the voltage out for the USB ports? I read the Details that the current output is 1.0 amps but what's the voltage for the USB?

The cord is too short and the plugs do not fit in securely they easily come out with a simple shift of the cord.

This GE power strip with twist-to-close plugs caused an eletrical fire. I purchased the black version but Amazon reviews also identified the white version as being a potential fire hazard.

We’ll, it has the plugs and ports mentioned, but this plug layout just doesn’t work for the intended purpose: to plug in up to four appliances, charging cables or lamps at once. I can only use two of four outlets because the plugs are arranged in a non-adjustable vertical orientation. For devices and electronics with AC adapter packs (apple products, my alarm clock, etc), this layout doesn’t work. At least, not in my home. Check your plugs and devices for plug orientation before you commit to this surge protector.

Very good quality! I love the 2 USB ports, it’s very useful. My boyfriend is a barber, he uses this for his buzzers & the USB ports come in handy for his clients. Also, the outlets sort of have child lock, simply just turn it to cover the wholes. Bought this back in Feb and it’s still in good condition, worth the price in my opinion!

I love the fact the plug is flat. For some reason most of them tilt to the right and that cannot be adjusted but not a big thing. I use the two USB chargers for the fitbit and the phone, both are tight and very hard to remove, and every now and they you may just have to. Also, the outlets could have been rotating - which I have from and other manufacturer - in case those big adapter plugs would have to rotate to fit in. Or at least in an angle. But still, the cord is sturdy and long enough and the two USB with the 4 outlets is a good thing to have around in one gadget (that fits behind a piece of furniture for its plug has a flat head).
Why is that too much to ask elsewhere.

By far the most useful surge for me to date. Having an additional 2 ports for just USB charging is so useful, making finding a plug for charging devices a lot less of a chore. After testing out the ports on my devices using both the plug and USB ports, I found that both take around the same time to complete charging. I highly recommend this surge! It's durable, works well, and the rectangular design with thick cord helps the item stay flat when placed on a surface. The four outlets, plus two USB ports allows you to utilize several items in one area. My only concern with the product is that the on-off switch on the side is not labeled and does not have an indicator light. There is a small bump on the "on" side, I believe, but it's a little confusing to know whether or not the item is on. This is especially difficult if the item is placed on a floor.
