It has a neat easy remote that has 53 functions to create amazing light shows and you can also link up to 6 sets! Like us that was our favorite part we were able to feel up our whole tree full of 7 beautiful vibrant different colored lights! Highly recommend and family approved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with these Color Effects string lights! The lamps are very bright and the faceted lamps really make them sparkle. I also like that the bulbs are a little bigger than your normal run of the mill string light bulbs. The LEDs have 7 color options and 53 functions! I included a pic of the chart so you can see exactly all they can do. I played with them for a long time and I still don’t think I got to see every single color/mode combination! You could use these for every single holiday, not just Christmas. They are customizable in so many ways: you can have just a single color, multicolor, cool white, warm white, or any of the colors mixed with white, or some colors even mixed together like red/green, blue/purple. On top of that, you can cycle through the colors if you want for a beautiful rainbow show. The we get to the modes: steady, chasing, twinkling, fade, steady, etc. I am super excited to get my Christmas tree up and have fun light shows every night!

He loved the vibrant colors and that it came with a remote control to change them. My favorite feature is the fact that they’re LED. By using LED lights, I no longer have to worry about leaving the lights on since they use less energy. Another thing that caught my attention was the quality and durability of the product. My two year and fur baby have both pulled, hit and ran into the light several times and no damaged has been done. If they can pass the kid and dog test, they’re a winner in my eyes .

I'm hanging mine in my house this year because they work for being on a tree or as an outside decoration. The remote make that even easier! I can't wait for Christmas! They are so durable. I don't have to worry about the cat ruining them while on my tree should I choose to use them that way. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday and I will start decorating early so when I was given the opportunity to try these fantastic Christmas lights from GE Color Effects, I was stoked! The size of the bulbs are great and they're a textured bulb so they are less fragile than my old lights which is amazing when you have kids and pets! My youngest son is obsessed with the remote control because he can push all different kinds of buttons to make the lights do different things and turn different colors. I am just super impressed with these lights!! We've played with them for a few weeks now and we still find new functions!! Overall I think the GE Color Effects Christmas lights are some of the best on the market right now!!

I love the little remote, being able to control the type of color. If we want it to twinkle, flash, or be simple and solid. Then when were ready turn it off in just quick snap. The string itself is very durable thick and can be adjusted easily and the lights are big enough to enjoy. Overall they are perfect for the holiday season coming up or even just to add a pop of colorful fun.

I really love that with lights you can hook up to six sets together. The bulbs in this set of lights are LED lights. They are also remote control. There is eight setting buttons on the remote which are steady, fade, twinkle, flash, dual color, chasing, combo, and auto. With these settings there are 53 functions combinations. This set of LED lights are 33 feet and are 7 different colors. You can also use these indoor or outdoor. The lights on this set are so vibrant you can just look at them for hours. They also have a two year warranty. I think every tree should have these lights on them. You don't have to use them on just your tree. You can use them to decorate virtually anything.

I'm one that decorates very early for Christmas and after getting my packaging of the GE Color Effects string lights I just had to put my artificial tree up even earlier. This set of lights is awesome and I'm so glad someone came up with this great idea. This string of lights is very sturdy. I am just used to replacing a bulb and switching out to a blinker bulb to get a blinking effect but these make that so easy! I don't have to change any bulbs to do that. It offers 7 colors and 53 functions so you can change it up whenever you want all with a touch of button on the remote. The settings on the remote are: -Fade -Twinkle -Flash -Dual Color -Chasing -Steady -Combo -Auto These can be used both indoor and outdoor. I'm currently using them on my tree and love them. You can connect up to 6 sets which is pretty cool especially if your using them outdoors. There is a 2 year warranty that makes me feel better about the product as well. I am really excited about this product and so glad I got them.

They can either be used indoors or outdoors. I love the fact that you have 7 different colors (purple is my favorite) to choose from and 53 different functions you can set; each one gives you a different light show. Oh and wait it also has a remote control; life is good. Great idea GE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great lights. The wiring feels thicker than I'm used to which gives these lights a higher quality feel. The lights are a good size (larger than the old school small glass bulbs you're used to but not too much larger.) Coloring is really nice - bright LEDs that can be any color it seems. The remote allows for the ability to have the lights fade in and out, blink in place, cycle through their colors, etc. There's quite a few options, and each one goes through multiple variations. I believe the remote is Radio frequency as well as I found no need to aim the remote towards the strand for it to work, which is great! I'll definitely be picking up more of these to strand together this Christmas.
