The GE Shop Light has 3 settings to choose from. I find the low setting to be bright enough. He likes to have it on high when using it due to having terrible eye sight. This is an extremely bright light. It’s very lightweight and can be moved around with ease. The fact that it plugs into an outlet is a major plus. It can be moved from room to room without struggling. If we are not using it in the dining room, my husband uses it in his radio room.

Hint hint, Influenster.) Anyway, it is BRIGHT. I told my husband to come to our room and I could hear him say, Why the hell is room so bright? Because of the GE Ultra Bright Shop Light. I love that it has three different levels of blinding and a sensor that you can turn off or on. We plan on putting it in our basement and the pull chain would be out of reach for the kids. It comes with chains and screws, so it's all ready to install anywhere. There's also an outlet at one end so you can plug something else in. My husband is really excited I managed to snag this.

Hooks easily screwed in, and hardware quickly placed. I love the additional outlet on one end, so I can connect multiple lights!

It literally makes our dark, dank, dirty 114-year old stone basement look like the most well-lit room in my house when it's on!! It makes it so much easier for my husband to see and work at his shop bench down there — and any other dark spaces where he needs to work. He absolutely LOVES it!! I think it's fantastic, excellent quality, and I know we’ll get a ton of use out of it!!

I really like the quality of the build and the brightness of the light. Only concern is that occasionally when turning the light on it will blink 3 times before remaining on. This is not a "flicker", it is a consistent blink 3 times. Motion sensor is turned off and lights are operated by the pull cord. Any ideas why it does this or how to fix? Happens on both the medium and high output settings.

It’s easy to install and hang and seems very versatile for multiple locations instead of just a garage.

I’m impressed that it can be linked up to 4 fixtures . The brightness can be adjusted to 3 level . Built in motion sensor is great for everywhere set up .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One side of our basement has been desperately in need of some light and this was a great solution. It was very easy to mount and now it’s super bright down there. I have not been able to get the motion sensor setting to work though. It’s supposed to turn off after 30 seconds of no motion, but it won’t turn off no matter how long I wait. I tried it both before it was mounted and after it was mounted with no luck. The instructions do say to make sure no metal objects are nearby and I have it above my washer and dryer so maybe that’s why it wouldn’t work? I did not plan on using this feature so it’s not a big deal to me, but I wanted to at least try it out to mention it in my review in case others are interested in this feature, but I just could not get it to work.
