Description
Gear Hugger ECO Dry Bike Lubricant is plant-based, non-toxic and easy to apply so the product is deposited in the core of each bicycle chain link. It forms a dry film that protects the chain and repels dirt in dry and dusty conditions. Made with vegetable oils and natural extracts that have excellent antioxidant and anti-wear properties and ensure good adhesion to lubricate the pins and provide long lasting protection. Does not cause accumulation of lubricant on the chain.

Q: How often should I re-lubricate with this (time or distance)?
submitted by Big E - 29 days ago
A: For best performance, we recommend reapplying every 100-150 miles for regular riding, or after riding in wet, muddy, or dusty conditions. If you hear any squeaking or the drivetrain looks dry, that’s also a good sign it’s time to re-lubricate.

Q: Can this be used as well for treadmills?
submitted by starsixseven - 1 month ago
A: Yes! Gear Hugger can absolutely be used on treadmills—it’s a great plant-based alternative for lubricating and protecting moving parts without the toxic fumes. Just make sure to apply it sparingly and wipe off any excess.

The lube works, it'll keep your chain from wearing prematurely compared to going dry. But it's not close to a dry lube, the chain stays "wet" and attracts grit even with proper cleaning. It's more of a wet lube and would work best for moist environments.
