Many lantern speakers have a separate button for the light independent of the speaker's power. Here's a general guide, as specific button functions can vary slightly between GEMS models: Dedicated Light Button: Look for a button on the speaker's control panel that has a light bulb icon 💡 or is labeled "Light" or "LED." Pressing this button once typically turns the light on. Cycling Through Modes: If there isn't a dedicated light button, the light function might be integrated into another button that cycles through different modes (e.g., light on, different light effects, light off). Pressing it multiple times would change or turn off the light. Brightness Adjustment: Some models allow you to adjust the brightness by pressing and holding the light button, or by rotating a knob. Cute light but sound is bad unless you change the equalizer
I read the reviews before purchasing. The speaker is bad BUT if you are using the app "Musicolet" you can customize the Equalizer for this speaker and change it how you want it sound. Live, Pop, Classic, Soft etc. Which helps out with the sound which make it less bad lol. For $2.50 with built-in light, I take it 😂 For the light, it has two settings. Soft and LED. Sorry if my pictures are awful 😞

Cute, but not the best
This lantern speaker is really cute and extremely lightweight. I know it's for things like entertaining, but I've used it while showering, so it's hanging in my bathroom at the moment. The buttons are a bit annoying to use and you'll probably need to read the manual first. Since I use it while showering, I can't skip songs since it's not in the shower with me; I doubt it's waterproof. The sound quality isn't the best, either. It's a bit tinny.

Still trying to figure this one out. I thought +/- changed volume - but it changes the song. Beyond that I truly enjoy this. Super cute, it has multiple light settings and is perfect for outdoor settings

Great Lantern, Not the best speaker
This is a very handy lantern. It's easy to carry and doesn't take up a whole lot of space. The sound quality is not the best, but it provides music while not having to pack an extra speaker. The light is nice and gives a few options for your needs. Overall I think this looks nice and works great as a lantern, but the sound quality of the speaker leaves a bit to be desired.

Cheaper looking functional option
It’s a great option if you’re looking for a functional cheap wireless speaker. It definitely looks a little on the cheaper side and the handle seems pretty flimsy but if you plan to have it off to the side somewhere it will work just fine

Great size
Love the size and how easy it is to carry around. The light options (soft or white) are a nice touch for setting the mood. The speaker works well for background music, but it’s not clear when loud. Great for relaxing on the porch!

Great little speaker
Very cute little aesthetic speaker. I was pleasantly surprised how big it was when I received it. It needed a few hours to charge it and then it was good to go. It has two light features; one dim and one bright. The sound quality is pretty decent for its size as well. There is also a little handle on the top so it does resemble a small lantern. All in all, really nice quality speaker.

Decent speaker
Speaker is a good size and seems decent quality. It was super easy to pair and begin using. It holds a charge for a good amount of time. The sound quality is ok, could be better. I like that it is a light and a speaker. Has been a fun addition to my screened in porch.

Great Little Lantern Speaker
I'm really loving my new Led navy lantern speaker. I think it's so cool as it's a lantern and a wireless speaker all in one. It has great sound, and the light is bright enough at night to use it out by the pool relaxing listening to my favorite music. It also has a two-hour run time and two light temperature modes, and it easily paired with my device, and it charges quickly.

Fantastic Lantern Speaker
The Portable Lantern Speaker with Built in Wireless Speaker is great quality. It's beautiful, works lights up well. The speaker works well to and loud comes out great. I like that it has two light temperatures modes. It is very lightweight. I recommend it

Cute outside speaker
Super cute style perfect for outside. Took some time to figure some stuff out but once you do it is good to go. Light stetting have bright white. warm light or off. Here’s my hot takes Pros. - stylish, super cute and goes with any style, super light weight, dual purposes of speaker & lantern! Cons.- sounds isn’t that great. Also watch the plus and minus buttons, I hit plus to turn up volume and it switched my song so hold down + don’t click to adjust volume. charge didn’t last that long and charging cord is super short. You cannot turn on light without turning on speaker just something to think about. All in all not a bad purchase for my outside deck area

LED Lantern Speaker
I really like my Portable Lantern Speaker. It’s lightweight, durable and cute. It charges quickly and comes with the charging cable, but you will have to provide your own wall adapter. It paired easily to both my phone and laptop and has decent sound quality. The LED bulb isn’t very bright, but it puts off a nice ambiance. It has a two hour run time and two light temperature modes. The built in handle makes it easy to move and carry.
