Cute and adorable! My kids love this light up rodent! Easy to put batteries inside and the 3 light levels work.

The description claims there are three brightness levels you can toggle by touching, but that does not work. Only one brightness level. Also, the light portion falls inside the hole easily, hard to get out. Seems cheaply made.

This is a fun little light for a bedside table! It is squishy and soft and seems pretty durable. To turn it on, there is a small power button on the bottom. It requires 3 AAA batteries. It would be great if it had a rechargeable battery, though! To adjust the brightness to 3 different levels, you just tap the capybara on the head. I wish it had a timer or auto-off feature, too, to save the batteries.

The Capybara touch light is super cute. The Capybara is soft to the touch. The bottom is plastic and can detach from the light. It is easy to pop back in. It requires 3 AAA batteries, which are not included. The button to turn it on is on the bottom, which blended in a little bit.

This capybara soft touch nightlight is absolutely adorable and very easy to use. I love it for a quick and easy nightlight on my child’s nightstand. I like that it is soft and squishy to the touch! So cute!

This is such a cute light. My daughter loved it. It is bright enough without being too bright. My inky complaint is that it takes batteries and can't be plugged in. The batteries last a decent amount depending in how long and you keep it on obviously. But definitely a cute light.

Fun Capybara light! Great for the kid’s room. Cute design. Very soft to touch. Light is gentle, not strong. There are two light modes. You can switch light brightness with a touch. Easy to use even for kids. Definitely recommend.

I really wanted to love this Capybara Touch Light. The design is absolutely adorable — the capybara is such a lovable and overlooked animal, and it’s great to see it featured in something so charming. The soft, squishy material and the idea of a touch-control light with multiple brightness settings sounded perfect. The size is nice too — not too big, not too small. However, it unfortunately did not work. I tried two different sets of brand new AAA batteries, and nothing happened. When I opened the box, I found that the white battery component had broken loose and was rattling around inside the capybara itself. I suspect that’s why it wouldn’t power on. Although there are no actual wires, I sense that it’s instability led to it not working. Also, it’s important to note that this isn’t a firm, durable plastic. It’s a very soft, collapsible rubber-like material, which could be a cute feature — but it also makes the whole thing feel flimsy and easier to break. Especially for kids. That, combined with the fact that mine arrived broken, makes me seriously question its durability and build quality. Lastly — and this is a big one — there was no price tag. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: it’s incredibly frustrating that you’re expected to evaluate an item without knowing its cost. If this were a cheap impulse buy, I’d probably say “why not?” for the cuteness alone. But if it was priced higher, I wouldn’t recommend it due to the quality issues and how easily it seems to fall apart. Cute concept, great idea, but poor execution. Unless they improve the durability and packaging quality, I’d suggest passing on this one — or only grabbing it if you find it for super cheap and don’t mind a gamble.

The capybara idea is pretty cute for a little nightlight. It's a really simple idea and would be really good for smaller kiddos. The unit is a squishy type of product and it's simple to tap it on the head to turn on, change brightness, and then turn off. It's not too bright which makes it a perfect little addition to a child's headboard or nightstand at bedtime.

This is the cutest little light and the kids love it! There are three different light levels depending on what will help the kids feel safe. The light is still very soft and helps the kids stay calm. It’s hard to tell the difference in the pictures, but there is a difference. Takes AAA batterie (not included).

Whenever I read "touch light" I assume it has a rechargeble USB port. Not until I received it did I learn this particular light requires 3 AAA batteries which I don't have and not sure I want to purchase to operate an inexpensive light. It also arrived with a black spot next to it's nose--super noticeable so that also makes it un-usable (shown in the second photo). What I do love it is that it is made from rubber to not breakable and would be perfect in a child's room.
