A: I have it next to a warm light and it is definitely bright/cooler toned.

Little JoBeth was hospitalized for 2 weeks and still cries out in agony when their oxycodone wears off . Other than that issue I think it's an adorable lamp for the nursery.

Q: It says there is a non removable bulb? so does that mean that when the bulb dies the lamp is useless?

We are made into little bulbs and can thrive about 2 years in constant glow, very boring to be lit non stop in my opinion. But eventually we must be turned off and meet our maker .

Cute lamp, soft light.
Pretty cute lamp. I didn't see it in black at the store but am curious about what that would look like when on. The white one is nice, but the "shade" is completely transparent, so it really only works well if it is placed a bit higher, so that you aren't being blinded by the essentially bare bulb. But it sheds a nice light - not super bright, but a nice bit of mood lighting. Cute for a kids room, dorm room, or whimsical space.

Completely horrific item that was made to be disposed of
I purchased this in store on a whim because it was on sale and my current lamp broke. When I got home, I went to put a bulb in it and noticed it already had some unremovable bulb-like thing inside of it. I plugged it in and the light was glaringly white. I went to see if i could somehow remove the “bulb” for something softer and found myself on the listing on the website. Here I learned that the bulb is not meant to be replaced. When the lamp is done for it will be thrown out, despite the language that corporate has handed down to customer service that says it can be used as a “conversation piece.” It’s clear this lamp was made for students to help them avoid purchasing a light bulb in addition to a lamp. Not a practice we should normalize or instill in our young people/the already deeply wasteful practice of consumerism. Hope target abandons this concept completely.
