GEMS Retro Phone Stand

I like that I immersed myself in a show without feeling like I had to switch between apps to look at a text message or look at an Instagram post. It literally felt like I was watching television once the phone was in the slot. I was completely immersed in my show. I have a standard iPhone 15 and it was a little too big for it to fit perfectly, I'm thinking this is perfect for like an iPhone Pro Max or a standard iPhone with the larger 6.9 screens. It's a cute novelty item, it's not something you need in your life, but it's definitely fun to have.

I loved this little gadget more than I thought I would. The retro vibe is what pulled me in initally, but when you get all put together (takes less than 30 seconds) it makes watching videos on your phone fun. My only wish is that there was a squishly adapter so non-max-sized phones fit the screen more perfectly. Also, maybe a little door hatch on the left to keep the phone from slipping out when moving the gadget to a different location.

I love the look of this retro phone stand! It's great for sitting at the kitchen table and watching YouTube videos. It's not good for watching TikTok because it only sits horizontally. The small antenna on the top does fall off, but I'm sure that can be fixed with a dab of super glue.

I wanted to love this stand more, as I love the retro design and the concept behind it. However, most consumers protect their phones with a case, and several of my devices didn’t fit or were a tight fit to use this as designed. I would have liked the phone opening to be just a little bit wider to allow for this. However, the sound box on the back really allowed the sound for streaming shows play well, and didnt sound muffled when using, which was nice. I think a few small design tweaks would make this product better. I also wish that there would have been a quick insert for how to assemble. I was able to logic my way through it, but may be something to also consider.

This little phone stand is adorable! I really like this retro design, but it still feels very modern. I also think it’s pretty interesting how the design sticks to a lot of the retro aspects but none of it is functional. Like there are dials but you can’t turn them, there’s a place for sound to come out, but obviously it doesn’t play sound, etc. I like how extra that is. Although, it would be cool to be able to turn the dials on this. I also really like the color, the sort of baby blue powder shade, that is very flattering. I also really like that it’s a very large size, so it’ll be able to fit quite a few different phone types. If fits my iPhone 12 with a bubble case on it with room to spare. So that leads me to believe there will be quite a bit of space for larger phones. The one thing I don’t really like about this product is how cheap and plasticy it feels. Now for a product like this, that’s forgivable, but that also means that all of the pieces don’t necessarily fit how they should. For example, the antenna at the top was fairly difficult to put on in the first place because the product hadn’t been shaved down so there were still some bumps on it and it didn’t fit completely where it was supposed to go. Even now, when I pick it up, sometimes the antenna will fall out of it. Which is annoying, but not a really big issue. Overall, I think this is adorable and I will be using it and I think a lot of people would enjoy it.

I received this item in exchange for an honest review from @Target and #heybullseye. I was not impressed by this product. I thought my teenagers might like it and they were not impressed either. It’s bulky and made of cheap plastic.

The more drawback is that you have to use it horizontally so there is no vertical standing capability. Regardless, I love it and it serves the purpose for watching videos.

This phone stand is cute, but not as useful as I'd hoped. The slot for inserting the phone is just under 1.4 cm wide, so we have to take our phones out of their cases to fit them in. The plastic feels cheap, but the color is great! Pay careful attention to which direction the legs point when assembling it!

This is a cool retro stand. I love the retro tv design and color. This stand was easy to assemble. It is quite spacious. My phone is the mini iPhone 13 so my phone is small inside but this will fit great for a bigger sized phone.

I thought this phone holder was a very unique idea. I have an iPhone XR (with an Otterbox case on it) and it fits perfectly inside without having to remove the case. My kids both have an Android phone and although it fits, they have to remove their case. The phone stand does require assembly which literally takes seconds to do and that’s to attach the legs & antenna. The holder is made from plastic and seems sturdy. No issues with the quality at all. The phone slides in easily.

This is one of the coolest gadgets I’ve picked up in a long time. It’s so simple yet so visually appealing when you set your phone in it to watch a movie or some basketball game! It was easy to put the two little sets of legs in and then also put the “antenna” on, although that doesn’t seem to stay in for me if it gets tipped over. When you put your phone is, there is a little opening on the far right that should help amplify your sound out the back of the TV so you don’t lose good sound by setting it in this for viewing. I love the fun green and white color scheme and it’s just a fun retro piece to look at while bingeing your streaming shows!

This is so cute! It’s a pretty decent size, and I love the green color. It was easy to assemble and holds a variety of phone sizes. Phones can slide in from the top or from the side. My iPhone 11 fits well, and there is still some extra space! It even works with a case on your phone!
