    Its not even real chocolate

    I realized after purchasing this isn’t even chocolate. It’s “chocolate flavored wafers”. Can’t believe Ghirardelli would even make something that can’t even be legally considered actual chocolate for melting. Pass.

    Never showed up but they said it did

    Took forever and then they said they delivered it but never did. Was super overpriced to begin with but I needed it for something. So I paid more for the convenience. Now I have to wait even longer for a replacement and hope that one actually shows up.

    Sweet sweet chocolate

    This chocolate is very easy to make. It tastes great with strawberries, pretzels, and marshmallows; however, it is quite sweet. If you prefer a less sweet flavor, consider using dark chocolate. I used the stovetop method and had no problem. I used a stainless steel bowl over a pot because I don't have a double boiler. Used the whole bag, made a mini bag of pretzels and 16 strawberries 🍓, and even had a bit left over; I could have most likely coated another two. The only reason for the four star is that it’s pretty pricey for such a small bag.

    Nut allergies

    I made chocolate covered strawberries with this product. The ingredients were safe for my daughter with nut allergies but the label did NOT say possible cross contamination so I used it. I am sitting in the ER as my daughter has needed 2 epi-pens so far. I found the website and label do not match. Do NOT use this product if you have nut allergies!

    Would give it no stars if I could. Was trying yo buy some white chocolate not sure if this is it. Put in microwave for 10 seconds, then 10 more etc til it ended up burning and never melted.

    Excellent! Only use Ghirardelli for my baking. It is the best in my opinion. In particular, I made White Chocolate Cranberry/Pecan Bark and it was excellent with the use of this brand of Melting Chocolate.
