A: We do offer a 52% Cacao Non-Dairy Chocolate Chip as well as our 100% Unsweetened Baking bar. They both are, however, produced on shared equipment and in a shared facility. All Other Ghirardelli products either contain dairy or are produced on shared equipment with products that contain dairy.

As far as chocolate syrups go this one is my go to. I often find a lot of them leave a film in your mouth or almost have a plastic after taste, this one is the only one that doesn’t seem to that. We use it on ice cream and also in making coffee either hot or iced! The bottle is a perfect size, doesn’t take up a ton of space and a little seems to go a long way for flavor!

Nice and rich
Way better than Hersheys chocolate syrup, and yet not as good as just a plain Ghirardelli chocolate bar. Def a premium sauce though, and much thicker than the other syrups out there. Looks great on a sundae, nice and rich.

Mold
Mold far before the expiration date. Only knew because it’s so thick I opened the cap to scoop out easily and saw the mold!

Sauce is too thick.
The sauce tastes great but why in the world did they make it this thick and refuse to dispense? It just congeals to the bottom of the bottle. And it is even worse once you open it because you have to refrigerate it. You never get more than half the bottle out before it refuses to let any more out. This stuff needs to be runnier for it to be considered a sauce. Because as it is you may just call it a chocolate bar. I tried adding water to it and it didn’t even want to mix it was too solid.

Don't buy from target. It must have been stored improperly and moisture got in, causing mold to grow. I sent a Pic of the seal, with the mold visible, to ghirardelli, and they confirmed that's what it was.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce
I made a hot chocolate bar for my kids at Christmas. And this is a staple! Nothing like drizzling chocolate sauce over whip cream on a hot chocolate! I’ve had other chocolate sauces but the Ghirardelli is the best.
