A: Hi, Mk. There are no peanuts in the facility that manufactures Hershey's Syrup Genuine Chocolate Flavor. There are tree nuts in the facility. If, despite our robust allergen practices and controls, we have a concern about possible cross-contact with a major allergen that is not an ingredient in a product, we add a precautionary allergen statement to the label, such as, "Manufactured on the same equipment that processes ...". Although the product contains no dairy and there are no milk allergen concerns due to the thorough allergen cleaning process, the product is produced on a line that manufactures dairy-containing products. Also, while we don’t add any animal products, it’s important to share that we haven’t labeled it as vegan or vegetarian. My family loves this over vanilla ice cream or I make chocolate milk using this too... it's always so yummy and fresh tasting.. and doesn't leave any after taste ..after I open it I always keep it in the fridge ! Highly recommend this brand!
