Range is the issue

It is a great concept, and it works well at fairly close range up to about 150 feet. I wish it had longer range so I could control the gate from my house that is about 400 feet away/\.

This is a must have

This is the easiest way to monitor your system. I love the fact that the app shows the battery level. You can give access to others by setting up different keys. If you are fortunate enough to have WIFI in range, you can control the gate from anywhere.

Set up is Clunky

Set up was clunky. I found that my phone would not talk to device right away, just like my mQ app. I believe this to be security related which I believe would be OK, if they told us that. Still having set up issues. BTW, the gate opener works great! Would buy again.

If your thinking about it don't it's an exceptional add on.

This added everything I was looking for to operate my gate remotely. I have a five acre lot and the signal from this unit makes it from the gate to my house. The app is excellent as it give you the status of the gate hardware and batteries. It also allows you to give unique keys to friends and family as well as setup Siri Shortcuts.
