[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement camera for the same exact one I purchased about 1years ago. Weather and time took its toll, and so it was time for a new one. They have definitely made improvements. The quality of the materials is much better than before, and there is even a dummy camera inside that can be pointed in several directions. Talk about realistic looking. Super easy to install. In fact I didn't even need to drill new holes since the old ones are in the exact same place for the new one. In summary this one is much better in terms of material quality and realistic look.

When someone comes down our driveway we always assume they are going to the neighbors. We put this alarm after the split so we will know when someone is actually coming to our house. No more looking out the window!

This alarm system has very easy instructions to follow and is pretty straight forward. Shipping was also very quick. The unit says that it can detect motion in your driveway up to 20ft and a 40° radial coverage area. We decided to mount it on the top lip overhang of our garage door and it took awhile for it to detect motion. It’s not very sensitive… you really have to be moving if you want it to be detecting something. I was hoping it would indicate to me if any animals try to get into my garden and potted plants but it barely detects people. The inside console alarm has 3 settings: High, Low and Off and it’s very loud with a “ding-dong” type chime like you’d hear in a convenience store. The outside detector uses a 9v battery and the inside unit uses 3AA Batteries. It’s a decent unit but not much of a motion detector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Sabre Driveway alert to use for our driveway to alert us when anyone shows up, we will be notified while we are in the shop in the backyard. When we have get togethers this is really nice to know when someone is here. The motion detection is up to 20 feet and works perfect for us. I ended up using double sided tape, and taped it to the fence and it is lightweight so it is very secure. The chime alert has a low and high and chimes twice when motion is detected. Since we normally have music on, I put ours on high so we could make sure we hear it and it’s loud enough. The sensor requires a 9V battery and the receiver requires 3 AA batteries and I have used them for a month and have not had to change the batteries yet.

It comes with two pieces, the alarm box you keep in your home and the sensor that is placed outside. It is battery powered. I have been using it for a month and the batteries are still going strong. The alarm box has two levels of volume, loud and medium, as well as an off option. The instructions said to mount the sensor at a 4ft ish height, which I did not do because I did not want to drill or put adhesive on my house. I will say over all it is a great little sensor. If I had it mounted lower as they recommended I think it would be even better. I work from home and it's nice being notified when someone approaches my house. I can jump up and check and if it's a package I know it's there soon and can bring it in. The range between my sensor and the alarm box is roughly 30 feet. If your looking for a easy way to be notified of passing traffic and dont need a camera I would recommend.

Living in a secluded, wooded area makes it very difficult to know when someone is on your property. This makes a sound, and it gives us a warning. It increases our sense of safety and was so easy to install.

It held up in rain and bad winds. Having a short driveway, I was provided with lot more false notifications than true ones- this did get a little annoying and can’t be customized. I can’t attest for battery life as I’ve only had it for a month, but it’s still working! Overall for security on a budget, this was great!

I put it up by my front door and I get notified whenever my packages are delivered. It helps make sure I get them brought inside immediately. Nice, loud sound that you can't miss. Easy to install.

Originally I was going to use it to mark where I park the car in the garage However, there is a delay in the alert system. For that reason, I would not use it for that purpose .I did find a good purpose to use it in the backyard on the deck to alert me if anyone was trying to go on or off the deck
