There was barely any scent to either of these candles. The Threshold brand offers a great variety of affordable candles, and my experience has been that most of them have a light to medium throw, which is usually fine for my small apartment. But for some reason I could detect barely any scent from these. i was able to return them, and have since purchased a couple of other Threshold candles which I'm happy to say are up to their usual standard.

I was surprised to find a pack of two wood wick candles at this low price. The scents are very mild, everyday-type scents, which I like. It does take a while for the scent to get going, so if you have guests over, maybe light this a little early. The crackling is nice, though a little more "active" than the wood wicks I'm used to. The only nitpicky negative is the stickiness of the label and tack (to help it stay in place in the box) leave hard to remove sticky residue. But it's not a huge issue and alcohol wipes can get rid of it. Overall, great to have, and the dual pack is boxed in a way to make a lovely gift, as well.
