Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Gigi wax warmer for over 10 years. I love it. It never lets me down. I use it once every two weeks. I would suggest making sure it's not too hot before putting the wax onto your skin bc you don't want to burn yourself!

Lasts years
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for years and still works perfectly. It does get hot quick and once you turn it off you must wait a few minutes to cool down. A good amount fits on the bin without having to heat up many wax beeds several times.

Burns You
i am a licensed esthi and gave this one a try just for personal use and it burnt my skin SO bad! my chin is in pain and my arm is worse.. regret buying this before reading any reviews. still trying to heal from the burns

Way too hot with no way to change the temp
It gets way too hot and there's no way to turn down the heat setting. If you just leave it on it starts to literally boil and I figured since there's only an on and off switch it doesn't get too hot so I burned myself when testing it on myself before doing it on my friend. You have to like strategically turn it on and off to let it cool some and then on again and off again. Yeah this wax heater sucks. Just spend a little more and get a nicer one.

Boils wax as soon as it melts
I have used another Gigi warmer that has a temp control and it's perfect. This warmer literally boils wax and causes it to smoke. DO NOT BUY you WILL severely burn yourself if you don't turn it off and let it cool down. I turn this on to melt hard wax and started to wax my leg it left little red burn mark splotches and.

Too hot!
This wax melter gets way too hot. If you have never waxed before please be careful. I had to continue to turn the waxer on and off throughout my wax. When I did get the wax on stick it was like a balancing act to keep it on the stick to wax myself. You will end up burning yourself. I am not sure how they are able to keep this on the market. Very dangerous.

Do not recommend
I bought this wax pot about 2 years ago and just got around to using it. It has no temperature regulation only an off & on button. Wax gets very hot to the point of watery liquid in less than 20 mins. I don't recommend this wax pot at all. I'm actually surprised it's even still on the website and being manufactured. I love Gigi wax but please do better.

Too hot
As soon as the wax melts it becomes too hot. Burns me each time i test it. Not worth the money now i have to invest in a different one... I am a professional its plugged in at the salon i work at... i turned it off hopefully it cools down enough before my client comes. Super frustrated about it... im just starting so i dont have all the momey in the world to throw out.

I got this product from Sally Beauty a while ago. It has no temperature control and heats the wax entirely too hot. You have to turn it off and wait for it to cool down before applying but by the time it's cool enough to apply you only have a couple of minutes to dip at the right temperature. 0/10

I have always used this warmer due to limited counter space. Yes it gets really hot and has no temperature control but once you place the wax on your wood stick just wait a moment prior to application and it's by far the best!!! I have tried others and for my 25 plus years of experience I would rate this warmer #1. It also removes the hair with one application unlike others!!!

I was really excited about this wax pot. I am an esthetician and love to wax myself at home so I got this wax pot. There is no feature to choose how hot your wax gets. Be careful if you aren't experienced.

I bought this yesterday to try and it is NOT good. As another reviewer mentioned it gets way too hot too fast and after a few minutes the wax is literally bubbling and steaming. You have to let it cool down significantly prior to use or else you will burn your skin.

Do not buy a wax warmer with no temperature regulation!! It completely burned my skin off with a test strip even though the warmer had been turned off to cool down but by the time the wax is slightly cool it'll already start to crack on the skin. This is coming from a wax specialist.
