Misleading
Although tasty, it is purposefully misleading. Website states NO nitrates. The actual packaging states No nitrates except for "naturally occurring" nitrates in celery powder. Despite being naturally occurring, celery powder is highly concentrated and these nitrates are broken down in our body the exact same way as meats that are cured and processed. Their goal is to deceive people who don't know this, making it seem as these nitrates are not harmful because they are naturally occurring which is just not true.

Please, if you're reading this, DO NOT BUY: I really wanted to like these sausages last night. I was very hungry, but my appetite left quite fast when I cut the first one in half. What appeared to be puss like liquid oozed forth immediately. I couldn't cram these offensive tubular food items down the garbage disposal fast enough. Hard pass on these!

Way too salty
I liked the packaging and flavor profile as described and purchased these sausages. I prefer chicken sausage due to health reasons. However these are way too salty and I hardly I could taste anything else. I know sausages are salty but these are chicken sausage with flavors of cheese,basil and sun dried tomatoes. I wanted to like these but I can not handle overly salty stuff. I would like these to be toned down in salt to make the other flavors stand out.
