Girls' Striped One Piece Swimsuit - Cat & Jack™

Didn't last a season.

The fabric became discolored in a gross weird way very quickly as another reviewer commented “old tea bag”, so it not only faded but discolored somehow and I couldn’t figure it out, but when I pulled it out of the laundry last week it had an overpowering metallic “penny” smell and I realized it’s the little sparkly threads through the fabric, they are degrading and causing the suit to discolor and smell like gross Pennies. Why would they use a fabric that breaks down like this? I am now having to buy another swimsuit in the middle of summer and it’s stupid. We should be able to get more than a few wears out of clothing.

Extremely faded after one use. Stretched and sagging in the bottom area after a few weeks. I expected better quality from target.

Great full coverage bathing-suit for an active little girl

We chose this bathing suits because of such vibrant colors but the suit faded after 2nd time. It also stretched out. I do not recommend.

This swim suit is well made with thick material and has great coverage! My girl is wearing a small, and it’s roughly 48” tall and 44 pounds for reference.

Purchased for my 9 year old. We realized before trying it on the back had a snag in the materia. Concerns on qualityl

My daughter loves rainbow, so this swim suit was perfect for swim lessons. I like how it has adjustable straps, so I feel like it will fit next season, too!

It’s a super cute suit but the colors faded after first use and the neckline puckers when my daughter bends over so it’s not the most modest suit. I’m most bummed about how dull the colors look. But there is a slight shimmer to it my daughter was really excited about!

True to size, sparkly swimsuit that is age appropriate for a 7 year old. We sadly had to return it because she complained that the material was super itchy.

The material on this suit is SO soft. It’s sparkly, too. Daughter loved it so much. Fit true to size.

After reading the other two reviews re: the color, I felt compelled to leave one as well. As another reviewer noted, the colors faded from bright and vibrant to ones that seemed to have a mauve undertone to them. At first, I thought it was due to sunscreen. But, sunscreen wouldn’t do this to the ENTIRE bathing suit. Secondly, if it was due to sunscreen, it would have turned the white inner lining of the bathing suit a brownish, mauve tint, but the inner lining was still a bright white. I ended up returning the suit for a refund. However, it was frustrating to be told by the Target employee that they’re technically not supposed to accept returns for this sort of merchandise once used, i.e. bathing suits, and that I should expect this to happen to bathing suits due to sunscreen. I explained that I did not believe this to be a sunscreen issue since it was diffuse and was told this happens to all of their personal bathing suits. I showed them the photo of what it’s supposed to look like on the Target app vs what I was returning, and they still told me how they’re not supposed to accept this return for future reference but would honor it this time. I also said that all of my child’s bathing suits are Cat & Jack, and I’ve never had this issue. I understand the policy - it makes sense. But this is not an item to be re-sold; it’s a defective item of which Target should be made aware. I hope Target and Cat & Jack figure out what’s wrong with the material or dye used bc it really is a cute suit…until you wear it for its intended use.

The colors faded so fast. It’s almost see-through now. Cannot recommend.

This swimsuit was adorable and vibrant at first, but after just two days at the pool, the colors completely faded, leaving it a dull, brown-tinged disappointment.
