If Target is going to offer shipping for fragile items, they should be prepared to package them appropriately for shipping. This was like they didn’t try, the box was huge for the items.

We use these as dinner plates, especially for large buffet style parties. We always receive wonderful compliments, they are a crowd favorite. Our first 'debut' was at Thanksgiving 2019. They are durable and fashionable.

This serving platter has a lovely look to it, with a glossy finish on top. The platter I have is plain white, which I like because I want the food colors to stand out. Though appearing small, this platter can comfortably sit a nice-sized ham, chicken, or turkey. Of course, if you’re an individual, like myself, you can fit a healthy-sized main course plus two sides on the platter: anything from a grilled cheese sandwich with a cup of warm tomato soup beside a side of broccoli and brown rice to a cheeseburger sided by ketchup-topped fries and a slice of pie. Cleanup is easy, as wiping down the platter with soapy water brings it back to good as new. The serving platter is lightweight and has a bit of a delicate feel to it, so I do recommend not dropping it. Thankfully, the bottom of the platter isn't slick, which is good for your grip. The fact that the platter is so light makes transport to the dinner table easy even after piling a heaping helping of food onto it. The wide oval shape of the platter also helps with transport. Overall, I like this serving platter as it does its job well.

L O V E! I actually haven't had an opportunity to use this yet but I know that it will be perfect for my next party or family dinner. I'm a huge fan of white serving dishes because they go with everything and have a classy appearance. The size is perfect for most anything I'd serve at a party - finger sandwiches, pita & veggies to serve with hummus, flatbread, taquitos, mini crab cakes, deviled eggs, cocktail shrimp, chicken wings, food on a stick... i could go on and on :) The next time I'm at Target I will definitely look for another 1 or 2 matching (or similiar) dishes. Thank you!!!
