I needed a ceramic platter for a craft that I was doing for my father. Turns out the plate is NOT ceramic but in fact PORCELAIN. Very upset that the title on this item was misleading.

This is a beautiful, yet inexpensive platter, large enough for a good-sized turkey. The beading around the edge of the platter makes it especially attractive and can be used for everyday meals or more formal events.

Wow I went back and forth if I was going to purchase this platter or not. I finally went for it and so glad that I did! Although the reviews were great, it was still better than I imagined. First off, great quality. Quite solid and hefty. Second, it was larger than I thought which I am happy about it! Third, it is just quite appealing. Anxious to try it out this summer with a display of heirloom tomatos and pickeled peppers from my farmers market! Great bargain for the money.
