💙 Tropes ✔️ Psychopath X His Match ✔️ Enemies to Lovers ✔️ Boy Obsessed Landon King (age 24) is President of the Elites in REU and a genius sculptor. He’s definitely on the spectrum of either a sociopath or psychopath. His name means ‘long hill or ridge’ but in a biblical concept it means ’leadership and strength’. Mia Sokolov (age 18) is like a goth Barbie without the pretentious makeup. She is in the Business program in the rival school. I love she has a green thumb, names her plants and won’t grow any in London so the NY ones don’t get jealous 🤣 Her name means mine’ ‘beloved’ ‘darling’. Blue is the official color for Landon and Mia’s book 💙 it plays such a significant role in the story. Lan is feeling an artistic low and his push and pull moments gets him creative and she becomes his ✨little muse✨ They are two complex characters, each with their own inner demons, and have this annoyingly amazing connection that they both really try to deny. I loved all the moments of Lan trying to learn empathy and finally creating a relationship with his siblings. The family cameos were great just seeing this group interacting and being together. There is only one parent POV - Kyle - and it honestly wasn’t the best inner monologue. Nothing memorable at least. While you can read this as a standalone do encourage you to read the other books first as you will enjoy the story and characters more.
