One of my biggest pet peeves is when I go somewhere where I have to remove my shoes and my socks totally 'ruin the outfit'. I wear the black ones with my black denim and knee high boots - and even when I have to remove my shoes my outfit isn't foiled by ugly socks! A bonus is the comfort - they are perfectly cushy in the sole, but not too thick to make my feet overheat as I walk around during the day. I'd definitely keep these for boots or other higher ankle type shoes since they rise up higher. I wore them all day with knee high boots as well as ankle boots and they stayed up so well! They looked super cute bunched above the ankle boot/peeking out. So far they have also held up great in the wash!
