Q: I just got a pack of the Good Foods avocado mash cups. The use by date says on it 01/07/2025. Does this mean July 1st or January 7th? If it is January, i’m surprised they would even have that on the shelves due to safety..

A: I’m not surprised at all!! I can’t tell you how many expired things I have had in my target orders. And some things by months. Twice I bought 2 of the same exact items one had a few months left till the exp date and the other was expired by 6 months?? How are these things still on the shelves?? Horrible grocery manager not “shelving” very well.

A: Our 2oz avocado mash contains the equivalent of about 1/3 of an avocado, and contains all the nutrients you would find in a fresh avocado. Also, I wanted to note that since the avocado mash contains salt, there is more sodium than in a plain avocado (so not 100% nutritionally equivalent). I hope this helps!

This is a decent size serving unless you want to eat it with chips. It isn't very good though. It has a strong vinegar taste to it. For freshness? I don't know but it isn't good. Even mixing it with other things, it's hard to avoid that sour taste.

Bland & Unappetizing
This product is unbelievably bland, and I regret that I wasted the money on it. However, if bland avocado mash is your thing, you will probably enjoy this. Honestly though, don't get it and plan on seasoning it becasue it's so incredibly bland and flavorless that even heaping on seasoning could only help so much.

Honestly, if you’re in a pinch this is a very good option if you can’t make your own avocado spread. I do agree it’s too salty, but I don’t think it’s detrimental to the flavor. Like the other reviews mentioned, you do have to mix it a little before using it, but I don’t think that’s a big deal.

This is my favorite brand by far when it comes to single packs of avocado/guac! It has a definitive lemon taste(but not overpowering), so if you love lemon, you'll love this! It's also more of a spread than a mash, but I feel it makes it easier to incorporate in your meals.

Whipped, not mashed—and way too much sodium!
10% DV sodium is an excessive amount of salt. The "whipped" texture was weird, almost like avocado mousse; and the lemon separates and spills from the cup. I think this is too hight in fat and sodium for me. I would prefer no salt and just mashed—not whipped—avocado.
