We have very hard ground in Arizona. Used a drill to prepare. Stake would only go as far as the drilled hole. Needed to go one more inch. Pulled out the stake, redrilled and pounded the stake back in. At the very last inch, the stake top bent and broke. The other 3 went in a little better. Seems to stabilize the swing from rocking. We intend to buy a replacement and 4 more for the inside of the swing legs just for good measure

I bought an Outing III playset and a number of accessories! So far, there's only been one user, a 7-year old, and she loves it. Her parents think it is wonderful too.
