A: It has a throttle which will take you to a maximum of 20mph, which makes it a class 2. Class 2 encompasses class 1, which offers pedal assist at various levels, up to 20mph.

Q: What is the height of the seat when it's all the way down, please? I'm trying to see if this bike will work for someone 5' 2" with a 29-inch inseam.

A: With seatpost fully down, 30" to ground, about 27.5" to a pedal at farthest. If you 'lose' the rear reflector and its clamp, subtract about .5" from those numbers

Buyer beware their warranty policy!
Buyer beware! If something isn’t working with your GOTRAX bike, and you need to file a warranty claim (assuming it’s a covered claim during your first 1-2 years of ownership), GOTRAX will require YOU to pay shipping and send the broken bike to them! This is at minimum a $200 charge if you purchase their discontinued shipping label through GOTRAX customer service. More $$ if you ship it your own. Great warranty- NOT!

Worst bike ever.
We purchased this bike as a gift for our son. He was very excited to use it. We put it together using the instructions carefully reading everything. Bike worked great to two hours. By December 28th I had contacted customer support no response. I have called and left ten messages with no response. Customer service sucks. I am at a loss. I am no just going to bring it back to the store of purchase. Do not expect Gotrax to stand behind their product. No response and no resolutions from the manufacturer.

Horrible unethical company
Buyer beware!! do not buy anything from GoTrax. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered in my lifetime. Faulty products and company lies about warranty. Very hard to get a customer service person to pick up the phone and once you do, they lie and then won’t give you any help. They say there’s two year warranty and that you have to file a claim which I did and then they said the warranty was one year. It clearly states it’s two years on their website. I’m having to hire an attorney. I sure wish I had checked out all their customer complaints on the Better Business Bureau website before purchasing their products. Save yourself a lot of frustration and go with a more reputable company.

The bike is sexy. Rides good. Just make sure don't have the pedal assist on 2 if are trying to make a sharp turn. You better pay attention to this or you can loose control unexpectedly. Bad things, I can't change my display from km to mph. Also the throttle control lever seems like not very sturdy plastic. I hope it doesn't break.
