Q: My baby weighs 17 pounds and I feel like he’s outgrown the car seat. He’s barely about to turn 3 months. Is there anything I can do to make this car seat last or do I need to purchase a new one.

A: He still fits until his head is within 1 inch of the top of the car seat I believe. Check the user manual. I stopped using this with my big baby at about 6 months since it was easier to just put him in and out of the car. Once you stop pulling the car seat in and out, it's not really worth it to use anymore.

Q: My stroller does not expand using the release button. I have to manually unlatch the black release bar in the middle of the stroller. This seems to be a defect and immensely problematic.

A: That is how many strollers are. It's annoying. It's not a defect. I got a Mockingbird as my next stroller and it has the same bar.

Q: what is the weight limit for the infant incert part? when do you remove it ?

A: The Modes Pramette Travel System comes with a Snugride 35 Lite infant car seat. The infant inserts for the car seat would be removed once your little one weighs 12 pounds. This can be found on page 71 of the user's manual. I hope this helps!

The whole set it’s self is nice the only thing is the stroller wheels suck they drift or get stuck. It’s not a good dirt/sand stroller since the wheels are plastic and not rubber. The bassinet isn’t flat my baby rollers to one side since it’s uneven, I tired fixing it but it did nothing. The car seat is very stiff and hard.

It was easy to put together and easy to install the infant carrier in the car. The stroller as well as the infant carrier are very well made. Everything is in great working condition and very sturdy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a good combo to have toddler seat that can change to lay down an infant (pramette). Also have an infant car seat that fits into stroller. I do wish more of the locking attachments were colored to easier see where to press to release or attach infant seat or stroller seat or safety lock closing stroller. Also the pramette is nice to lay down baby but where the baby's head lays seems too low, it's not level with the rest of the body. It's like I need to put some cardboard to push up the head slightly so doesn't sink down. Otherwise for the price and for travel it's a good stroller.
