Q: can this be rear facing????
A: Anytime it says that it is a harness booster and the beginning weight to use it says 22lbs, it is NOT rear facing. Children should never forward face until at least 22 lbs.

I bought this thinking it was because I was so excited it was half price for a black Friday early deal and turns out it is ONLY rear facing. nowhere did it state it was only front facing. hopefully I can return it even though we started putting it together and can't get the head support out.

Q: can this seat be rear facing or only forward facing
A: Convertibles can convert between RF and FF. This is a combination seat, which are only forward facing. It can go from harness mode, high-back booster mode to booster mode.

This seat will accommodate your little one forward facing in the 5-Point Harness Mode from 22-65 lbs, 27-49 inches, in the High Back Booster Mode from 30-100 lbs, 38-57 inches, and in Backless Booster Mode from 40-100 lbs, 40-57 inches. Q: how do you adjust the side impact cushions? my toddler is on the small side and there is a lot of room between her head and the side impact protection.

Q: Does the harness on the seat adjust? It seems tight on her crotch and does'nt give. She is 70 pounds.
A: Thanks for reaching out with this great question! The Nautilus 65 Safety Surround car seat's harness maxes out at 65 pounds or 49 inches tall. After the maximum height or weight are met the seat must be used as a belt positioning booster. We hope this helps!

Q: So this is NOT a convertible rear facing car seat? I am confused. It says starting at 22lbs..my 9 month old is 20 pounds (average percentile). 22 pounds is not an average weight of a toddler..

Q: What year was this manufactured??? If it's "expiration date is 10 years from the manufacturer date"?

You can see the date of manufacture when you make a purchase at a local retailer, we put a sticker on the outside of the box that will give you this information.
