Worst pans ever. Everything sticks, even the oil. Scrubbed the pans, ran them through dishwasher multiple times, cooking oil remains. They look look horrible and certainly don't want to cook in them when we have people over. I would not recommend these.
I just want to say I feel like I was deceived. The box says it is dishwasher safe but when you read the info inside the box it says to wash by hand. It also says on the outside of the box it is broiler safe but on the inside it says use low or medium heat only. You also find out after you have ripped the box apart that you cannot use olive oil - thats a game changer - that goes on everything I will throw in the pan. So I would like to return these but the box gets ruined when you remove the pans so I'm stuck. My bad - I should have read the reviews before I opened the box.
The item arrived with a large scratch in the nonstick coating. I went to the store to return the item. The customer service rep offered an exchange and ran back to get a new set. When I got home, I saw this set also had a large scratch under the packaging. These pan must really scratch easily if this is a recurring problem.
I love these skillets, they are amazing. Do follow the instructions, NO HIGH FLAME, NO COOKING SPRAY, DO NOT LEAVE ON FLAME WITH NO FOOD IN THEM, DO NOT OVERHEAT. If you can follow those caveats and use patience you will also love these, as nothing sticks. The coating will be ruined if overheated. I do pre-heat my skillets on a low flame, and they need more time to cook the food because you are doing it on a lower flame setting (I have a gas stove) so this is where the patience comes in. I have roasted butternut squash, fried eggs, browned chicken, pan fried fish, all without oil or butter. Food came out lovely and did not stick. Completely cool before washing and just a quick swipe of the sponge side (not the scrubber part) of the dish sponge will do. Rinse and make sure they are dry (esp. if you have hard water). I ruined the previous ones because I was impatient, and now that I know what to do its no problem. The handles do not heat up (if they do, your setting is too high/hot). I like that the inside is completely smooth. They only thing would be to have the bigger one be slightly deeper but I am buying the deep one with the lid once the one I have goes kaput.
These pans are great! Very slick, food just rolls off! I loved them so much have have purchased 4 others in different sizes. Care and storage instructions for them are specific. If you follow and take good care of them, they should last several years. Clean up is absolutely a breeze. I investigated the "Green Life" brand that is also made by the Green Pan company (they are a little less expensive). Reviews aren't as good and they aren't as "eco friendly" as the Green Pan. So, I'm sticking with the Green Pan. If you cook at home often like we do, you will love them!
These pans were great for first 2-3 weeks. They are now unusable - everything sticks even with a good amount of cooking oil. Also the base of the plastic handle gets heat up easily on my stove, and it smells horrible when it does. I have used many non-stick pans in the past but this was the worst one ever.
