Description
Drill holes and drive fasteners with ease with the Greenworks POWERALL 24V brushless drill and driver combo kit. The compact, lightweight drill/driver features two-speed transmission, 310 in-lbs of torque, and 1/2" keyless chuck for quick bit changes. Drive the most stubborn fasteners with the 1/4" impact driver. Featuring a powerful brushless motor that provides 2650 in-lbs of max torque, electronic variable-speed control with 3 speed settings, and a 1/4" quick-release coupler for easy bit changes, this lightweight and compact driver is perfect for the most demanding driving and fastening applications. Additional features for both tools include a built-in LED light that illuminates poorly lit workspaces and a cushioned overmold grip for comfort and less fatigue. Includes tool bag, (2) 24V 2Ah batteries, and charger. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drill is smaller and much lighter than the Ryobi I have. So far it did not lock the drill bit well. Drill bit slips from time to time. Not sure why but it's easy and lighter to use for sure.

Hello Mr Old School. We are sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing. If your bit isn't secure in the drill, examine the chuck. Normal wear and tear can compromise the chuck's ability to hold the drill bit. To install the bit: 1. Push forward / reverse switch in "neutral" position to lock the trigger. 2. Turn the chuck counter-clockwise to open. 3. Tilt the machine upwards to keep the bit from falling out 4. Put the bit into the opening of the chuck. 5. Make sure that the bit is centered, then turn the chuck clock-wise to tighten. We have a assembly and user video. You can check it out here: (https://youtu.be/d9kX_02lRu0) If you are using the drill on wood we recommend, for maximum performance, use high speed steel bits for wood drilling. When using on wood Operate the machine at a very low speed to prevent the bit from slipping off the starting point. Increase the speed as the drill bit bites into the material.
