Greenworks Powerall 2x24V 19" Brushless Push Mower with (2) 4.0Ah Batteries and Charger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is light, easy to operate and handles very well. BUT, the battery life is atrocious. It promises 45 minutes of battery life, and I barely got 15 minutes. With fully charged batteries installed, the three green bars on the handle immediately go to two. The mower has a compartment for two extra batteries in the rear, and when I insert batteries in there, they don't register as active on the dashboard on the handle. To cut my lawn (no more than 1/3 of an acre), I needed two days. I got the back cut (barely) with 96v of batteries. Charged them overnight and cut the front with fresh 48 the next day. I'll give it one more try, otherwise it's a return. It's too bad because everything else about the machine is really nice.

I have been using the corded version for over 3 years and was pleased with its performance. However the purchase of an adjoining lot would mean using a very long electrical cord so I opted to buy the battery-powered version. I am very pleased with my new mower. It was very easy and quick to go from the box to using the mower The instructions for assembling were easy to follow. The first job I did was to mulch fallen leaves and the mulch cover was very useful. The battery charged quickly and lasted for the expected time. Having the second battery meant I had the job finished in a little under an hour. I am very glad I chose this mower and looking forward to many seasons of use.

I also absolutely love that I never have to haul gas cans to and from the gas station ever again. I will never switch back to a gas powered push mower!

WE ALSO HAVE 3 SELF-PROPELLED GAS MOWERS. WE USE ALL OF THEM TO CUT OUR 3.5 ACRE FARM AND THAT INCLUDES THE HORSE PENS. THIS NEWEST MEMBER IS VERY MUCH UP TO THE JOB AND WE ARE HAPPY. My husband went over and tried it, and just loved it. We went right home and ordered. It's so light and quite! We'll be a customer for life! So glad the nephew introduced us to such a great product!

.75 acre backyard.....cuts just fine.....bags well...got 2 spare batteries, limb saw and can deal with the whole front and back without pause.

Only downside is that is not as quite as it is advertised, and the batteries do not last as long as promoted. Usually it takes about 30 min to get depleted (even when fully loaded, when cutting the grass dry, while saving the batteries in a cool environment, and when cutting only with 1/3 of the machine at a time, and all the other recommendations given). Will still recommend it, since the quality to price relationship seems fair.

I brought this product last month and my string trimmer has stopped working. This is such a letdown. I hope company improves their product quality in future.
