I so wanted this to work, but sadly not so.
Unfortunately this has not yielded any grass at all, it’s been down for 3 weeks, watered daily and no shoots! I have to admit I’m disappointed.

Install
Easy to install make sure there’s no wind or rain in forecast. We had a heavy rain the night installed. Had to piece it together very difficult. Still no seedling waiting patiently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can’t testify to how the grass grows yet, but it’s very fragile.. like think toilet paper fragile… it rolls out fine-ish, but once it’s wet, difficult to keep in place and if the wind blows it, good luck getting to lay back down without ripping it apart. I’m not sure I’d recommend it because you really have to stay on top of the watering to keep it in place. Would probably be great for very small jobs.

Love the idea, but make sure no wind and it's always wet. Unfortunately in my area 07109, it's a windy area so it keeps flying even on week 2.

Lawn repair
We had to dig up around pool. We used repair grass 50ft rolls . It rolled out very easy and watered it three times a day and within a week it started sprouting. We are very happy with the product.

Old way still works.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Followed all the directions and faithfully watered the patch areas. Only one small area produced any grass. In another area of patch work I did it the conventional method of roughing up the area, sowing the seed and covering with straw and I have grass growing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty amazed at how quickly we have sprouted grass! I've taken some photos, but don't think the reviews allow photos to be posted with them. We decided not to put up our 15 foot pool this year, due to increased cost of water, so we cleared off most of the sand, put down about 1/2" to 1" of topsoil, then rolled out a 200 sq ft roll of NU-Lawn and I'm shocked how quickly it's growing!
