No attention to bagging details
tortillas were tossed from the bottom of a bin? They were essential chopped up in half when opened at home.

Guerrero White Corn Tortillas
These are amazing and delicious! Mild corn flavor, did not fall apart when filled with chicken, salsa, avocado, lettuce, cheese. They are good wrapped in foil and warmed in the oven, or heated quickly in skillet that is oiled or buttered, or right from the bag.

Delivered to my mailbox
This is a weird item to allow for shipping by USPS, especially in summer in Texas. I ordered it for delivery from the store through Shipt, and I got all my items from my delivery person, but Target decided to ship this USPS for some reason.

Ripping apart
I don't know why I kept buying these tortillas. Always ripping apart so easily. Tried to make potato tacos only for them to only rip right in half every time I folded. Not going back to these.

Time to move on...
I don't know what has changed with these tortillas, but seems they have. The last 3 or 4 purchases, we end up throwing away more than we use. They are brittle, crack, and just awful. Usually the first 20 or so tortillas in the package are in pieces and have to be trashed. You can't roll an enchilada or fold a taco without breakage. Think we will have to find something new.

Unfortunate
Guerrero tortillas have always been my go to, but a few years back I switched to Calidad because 1/4th to 1/2 of the Guerrero tortillas would be unusable due to them steaming in the plastic and falling apart. Target doesn't carry Calidad corn tortillas so I thought I'd take a chance, hoping that if enough people complained about this problem, they would have corrected it, but unfortunately this small pack of 30 came with ALL of the tortillas torn. Maybe they are machanically shoved into the plastic because they all came shoved in and broken into pieces. I went through all 30 and couldn't find any intake tortillas. Since I touched them I didn't return them so I just made chips out of them. Generally speaking good textured tortillas if you can get them whole.

Make them good again
I remember years ago this brand was very good? The tortillas were soft but now when you warm them up get very stiff. They are not the same as before

Broken tortillas
Usually buy Guerrero corn tortillas because they come in smaller packages. Lately half of the bag is broken or breaks in half when trying to hand fry taco shells.

These tortillas do not puff up
These tortillas do not puff up. I tried baking, toasting, and frying on a comal and they didn't rise. Long before expiration date.

Good corn tortilla
These are thicker, and they hold up better than the Mission brand corn tortillas. I prefer to buy local brand tortillas (Tortilleria El Ranchito), but this works

Best brand of tortillas in the market.
Guerrero White Corn Tortillas, this bran has been used by generations my grandma, my mother and now I used them too. Best tortillas to make tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, chlakiles etc

I think Target has an issue with storage, QC, and staffing overall.
First let me say I don’t think it’s Guerreros fault. It’s Targets. Although they looked and felt fairly dry when opened, i just added more butter and cheese to compensate. But when I took a bite of the quesadilla, something was really wrong and immediately spit it out. Despite all the extra butter - evident on my shiny fingertips and soaked through napkins - the texture was not only completely stale - drying my entire mouth - but there’s this rancid gas like taste/smell, similar to old mildewy bread, and the edges were rock hard. I braced myself while I tested a few more - feeling obligated to double check - given the extraordinarily high prices of cheese lately, (criminal really) and this was a rather large batch. So I ended up doing my usual MacGyvering by gently pulling off each one and replacing with Mission Brand to save cheese. So…. Conclusion? It was either: (A) poorly made with corn so old it had already turned, (B) subjected to extreme temperature changes, or (Ć) the expiration date was intentionally mislabeled. . My vote is both B & C. During the year my family has been shopping at Target regularly, we’ve come across so many expired products - or taste expired it’s troubling. Tons of frozen dinners/foods - and definitely the produce - shudder. Its enough to know they don’t make it a priority. I’m sure its nothing to do with the high school staffing and their immature bosses wanting to be friends rather than supervising. Put out a “How are We Doing” rating card box near checkout and you’ll see. More credibility as many other reviews bring up questionable packaging: how the usual plastic seal was broken and removed, replaced with a baggie twist tie or clip, or even heat sealing the plastic.

Our first choice if thin enough
We like this brand best for making tacos, but sometimes they’ll not be thin enough for frying crispy shells. We look over each package carefully. Flavor is always best of any other brand. What I look for as a diabetic is carb count. I can only eat one at a time which equals 11 carbs. But it gets me by, one under my huevos rancheros, or one as a base for a tostada. I do not like the zero carb version of the flour tortilla, but haven’t seen one for the corn tortillas yet.

Great corn tortilla that is strong enough to hold a lot of filling but soft and pliable for rating
These corn tortillas are my favorite brand. They are white corn and they are good price and I can find them in my grocery store but it can be a challenge with some other bigger brand companies taking up most of the shelf. These are great when warmed through. Just a few minutes on each side and they are pliable for making breakfast tacos. They don’t tear or rip and can hold quite a bit of filing! I store them in the fridge and have corn tortillas when I need them. If the expiry date is coming close, I will split the pack into 4 tortillas and then freeze them. They reheat from the freezer just fine and you don’t taste they were frozen
