Tastes strong like matcha, I haven’t had a weak one like what the other reviews say. Might just be a matter of luck though. It’s made with real matcha, so I ate an entire container and felt like I was going to die because I forgot it had caffeine. Delicious though 🤣

I love matcha, but this ice cream is okay. I love the low amount of ingredients and the creamy texture! The flavor is lacking. The matcha in this is disappointing for sure! The flavor is very hard to taste unfortunately. I also had a problem where some parts I scooped up with a spoon and tasted, very strong like the taste of blood! Not all the icecream was like this. This happened around the container itself and the top/bottom. It might be what the container was made out of but it was very disgusting.

This was not what I expected. Hardly any green tea flavor. The texture was not rich, smooth or creamy. I sensed tiny ice particles in my tongue. I bought this impulsively and regret my purchase. Dissatisfied with this "treat." I will stick with the green tea ice creams from the Asian grocery stores. The only positive is that it doesn't have as much sugar as other flavors I considered buying. Extremely underwhelmed with the green tea flavor. Love Hagen Daz most of the time.

Good creamy tasting ice cream with barely any matcha taste. I was hoping it would have the full flavor of matcha powder. If you drink a good brand of ceremonial matcha you will be a little disappointed in the flavor.

Nice, creamy ice cream! Despite other reviews, I really like the matcha flavor! It’s not overpowering or bitter at all, and I actually prefer a lighter matcha flavor when it comes to ice cream.

I should have read the reviews before buying it since many clients have been saying for almost 3 years already that this product lacks taste. Hagen Dazs doesn't care about the clients, their complaints for years wasnt listened to, they did nothing to the product - it still has no matcha taste in it. Very very disappointed, won't ever buy this again.

I literally bought this yesterday because I had a craving for icecream, I recently tried matcha and I was obsessed. While I was looking for a new icecream flavor I saw this and I fell inlove with it. It's sososososossososossosoosooso good its so creamy and amazing and it's not too sweet for me. I want this matcha icecream to be put in my veins and flow through my blood stream it is amazing,

Love this simple ingredient list without gum or flavor etc. Although it’s sweeter and milder taste than I’d like, I sprinkle (or mix) with some green tea powder to make it taste stronger and less sweet. I would buy this ice cream when I have instant green tea powder on hand.

I love this green tea. The matcha is tastes strong but balanced. It’s so good. Growing up Japanese food wasn’t very popular so we could only get green tea ice cream when we went out to eat Japanese food. It was always a treat. Now there are so many Japanese restaurants I am surprised when the people are actually Japanese. I order green tea ice cream products everywhere I go and this is still my favorite for the house.

I love this matcha green tea Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The flavor is fairly mild, with just a subtle hint of green tea. Having grown up in Japan, I love all things green tea. This is similar to what’s available in Japan. My 6 year old loves it as well.
