HABA Terra Kids Block and Tackle Pulley Set for Treehouses and Bunkbeds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is not really an outdoor type of kid but this allowed him to use his imagination and come up with a pulley system that he could build things with. I was able to help him and together we figured it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My younger children really enjoyed learning how how to use this block and tackle! It’s pretty awesome for them to be able to pick up heavier items than they could lift by hand, and hoist it up into they're tree house. It comes with a nice heavy duty rope, two carabiners, and two pulleys. It claims to have a load capacity of 66 lbs and I believe it could handle more than that! Everything is of good quality and works very well. It’s awesome to be able to teach them about physics and mechanical advantage at a young age. My kids and I genuinely enjoy using this block and tackle.

After a recent vacation, they saw a much older version of this at one of the historical sites we visited. They were beyond excited to have a set of their own! They are currently testing to see how much weight they can lift with this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this hoister by Terra kids. we used it for our treehouse so my kids can easily lift their toys up and down without having to carry them up the ladder. Such a great invention and one that definitely comes in handy if you have a treehouse like us!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good set for kids to use, learn and play with. Our HABA Kids Block and Tackle set is basically a rope, pulleys and carabiners. It's actually been a very educational and fun set for our 8 year old to play with and use for her tree house. While you can probably go out and buy the individual components yourself at a hardware store, this set is nice in that it comes together, sized appropriately as a set for kids and comes in a nice box/packaging, making it good for giving as a gift. Overall, my wife, my daughter and I were all pleased with this and would recommend it to others. Yes, this is recommended for kids over a reasonably wide age range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves the Terra Lids Block and Tackle set!! He enjoys using the set to "explore" his environment (swing-set and tree house). The set really lets him explore other out-door activities and lets him get a lot of physical activities and lets him use his imagination with tons of other ways to use the set. Not only great for out-doors but keeps him entertained in-doors with other play options. He really enjoys the set! I would recommend Terra Kids Block and Tackle to any parent with a child or even for the parents own use. This is a useful set for both adults and children!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is literally a rope and pulley. It really engages kids to use their imagination. My kids thought it was really cool. They set it up with a bucket and used it to harvest cherries. I don’t know how long it will engage them though. Definitely know this is best suited to older kids. 5 and up I’d imagine. The metal pulley can clip a kid in in the head and overall it requires adult supervision.

They were able to really learn how a pulley works, create their own lifting platforms, just have fun! I really enjoy the quality of the materials, they are durable and can withstand some force! I know this will definitely help my kids understand physics much more on a hands-on level.

I have enjoyed him playing with this because we can use it as a learning tool. He attaches his bucket of cars at the bottom of the porch and then climbs up the stairs and uses this block and tackle to hoist them up
