  • A: No, the opening is only 12.3". This product isn't worth the time or money. I JUST returned mine because though the design is pretty it's junk!

middle support wrong size

easy to assemble and looks great. the only complaint i have (and I'm wondering why nobody else mentioned this) is that there's a support foot that goes in the middle but it's larger Than the left and right feet so when you put it on, it wobbles badly. my husband who is a carpenter, luckily, was able to saw it down some so that it would be the same size as the legs on the end but I'm sure not everyone has that capability. I bought 2 shelves weeks apart from each other and they both had the same issue. I would give this more stars but that issue is just odd and not easy for everyone to fix.

Very nice elegant table!

This table looks great!!! I bout fabric cubes to insert in each slot and my kids store their items in there. It was not difficult to build and my husband did it by himself. We are happy with it!

Wrong color for us

The unit seemed great. It did not work for us because the color had a lot more green in it than "distressed gray." Through some conversation with simplihome, they returned the unit with a restocking fee. Overall, it's a solid piece of furniture and good customer service.

Just want I needed

Easy to assemble. Sturdy. Perfect size for me scrap ebooks. For not being all hardwood is very nice all the same. Of course it didn’t cost nearly what that would have cost. Very happy!

Nicer than the available alternatives

This item is ok. It is much nicer in quality than many of the press board "cube" storage products I've encountered before. Just keep in mind it's pine, and it does scratch extremely easily. Not super kid friendly. There is a large scratch front and center on mine from shipping, alone. It does take a little time to assemble. Lots of allen wrenching. The materials all feel nice and "solid" with the exception of the panels that go on the back -- they are extremely thin.
