Whatever glue they used on this has a strong odor and made me feel sick. It was impossible to work on the project. Plus, I can’t imagine this is healthy. I will be returning to Target.

Adorable, and perfect for my 9 year old who loves diamond art. I got it on sale for $3, but I wouldn’t hesitate to pay the regular price.

Its a fun activity but the smell is too strong. It gave me a headache every time I sat with it for a few mins.

Our kit came with instructions for the Gem Art Tarot Cards, instead of the haunted house scene.

Got these for a girls night with friends and they were perfect for us to do while watching trash tv. It was super nice that it came with little baggies to put the gemstones in when finished, as well as having stickers so you can label them. It was easy to follow the numbers and where to put them, the instruction pamphlet also has a legend for matching the numbers and letters. The stickiness on the items is strong too, so I didn’t worry about any of the gems falling off. It did make it hard if you accidentally placed one and needed to move it. Very cute and fun and worth the price.

This is fun, but definitely suited for teens and adults. As with all gem art, the gems are tiny. Yes, the plastic covering on the wood has a slight chemical odor. No worse than spraying hairspray or windex in your house. A note for anyone confused, the number 10 bag is meant to be Letter A, and the number 11 bag is Letter B.

My 8yo son is an avid crafter and does diamond art all the time. He sat down to do this yesterday, and after some time told me he felt dizzy and needed to lay down. I thought it was odd but he felt better after resting, so I didn’t think much of it. Today he got it back out again for the first time since, and asked me to do it with him. When I peeled back the plastic, I was hit with a strong, chemical odor. I have never smelled anything like this with any diamond art I have ever done! I ended up getting dizzy and nauseated myself after 10 minutes of working on it. We finished working on it outside on our patio for fresh air, but could still smell the odor. The box says it’s non-toxic, but I don’t know if I believe that after this experience. Maybe we got a bad unit? It definitely wasn’t right.

I really enjoyed doing this kit. The pieces are nice and thick. Great Halloween piece for display. Would love to see a Christmas one.

I wish it glew in the dark a little more. The three ghosts do glow in the dark a little. Wish the effect was a bit more. But I do recommend it. Really fun to do.
