Devastated for my egg and milk allergy kiddo that these are not vegan like the 4th of July ones were. They taste the same as far as I can tell, so hard to understand the reason for the change

These are advertised as shortbread cookies online but the packaging reads sugar cookies. I read all of the reviews and didn’t care if they were shortbread or sugar cookies before I bought them. The reviews stated they weren’t too hard or too soft. And those reviews were absolutely true! They are a perfect texture. My daughter had a spider webbed themed birthday and these cookies (half are spider web with cute spider) were perfect. Great detail in these mass produced cookies. I told the kids it’s time for sugar cookies and we sang happy birthday and started eating them. My husband took one bite and said these aren’t sugar cookies, these are shortbread and I love short bread! One of my daughters then said yeah, these aren’t sweet enough to be sugar cookies and I like them that way. We all ate every last bite and we would definitely buy them again. I would say they are a cross between a sugar cookie and a shortbread cookie. They have perfect taste, texture and design. No funky aftertaste either. These are definitely cute enough to place on a tray for a party too!

These are advertised as Shortbread Cookies and they are NOT Shortbread. These cookies are just plain Sugar Cookies, if you are expecting Shortbread you will be disappointed. They are just OK as a Sugar Cookie, nothing special about them.
