Description
The only 3-way swaddle that adjusts to fit baby's sleep style. Swaddle with arms in, hands-to-face, or with one or both arms out to ensure baby’s best sleep. With adjustable fasteners for a perfect fit, it nestles baby like a soft blanket without the risk of sleep-related dangers—so baby can sleep both comfortably and safely. Signature “Back is Best” embroidery is a gentle reminder to place baby in the recommended sleep position. Features an inverted zipper for easy diaper changes and a roomy sack design that’s recognized by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as promoting healthy hip development.
Size: Available for babies 0 to 6 months. View size chart to select the proper size for your child. Discontinue swaddling when the baby shows signs of rolling over or breaking out of the swaddle wrap.
TOG 1.5: Ideal for moderate temperatures (65 - 75°F).
Care Instructions: Turn inside out and close zipper before laundering. Machine wash cold with like colors on gentle cycle. Close zipper and fastener strips before washing. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.

Q: My daughter is only 11 lbs but 23" long and the size chart is confusing, I only see 2 sizes offered...will she fit better in NB or small?

A: HALO here. We recommend looking at the weight of your baby and then the height when determining the correct size to use. The largest size that we sell the swaddles is a size small. Since your little is 11 lbs., we would recommend that you use the newborn size until she weighs a little more. Just be sure that your baby has room to stretch out her legs.

Q: Do any of these have two zippers (one at top and one at bottom)? The bottom only ones disconnect at the top and I need to rip the zipper open to get the baby out.

A: HALO here. We have two zipper styles in the market: the inverted zipper and the 2-way zipper. We're moving away from the inverted zipper design but there are likely some still in circulation. If you're looking for the two-way zipper, it would be best to check the image on the product listing to ensure you're getting the zipper style you want.

My baby loves to sleep in this swaddle - you can manage the tightness and baby can sleep with hands inside or outside. My baby had to stay in the NICU for a few days and what i noticed is that the nurses there used exact same swaddles.

I have no idea why this is rated so well, it’s awful when our guy sleeps in this. He moves around so much and ends up with the arm wraps around his face! If you have a strong little one.. look at the micro fleece option instead.

In many desperate attempts to save my sleep I bought a variety of swaddles and this one is just NOT it. There’s way too much fabric with the wrap part of this swaddle making it hard to get a wiggly baby’s arms to straighten at their sides. I tried this swaddle a few times at about 2 months, thinking maybe it was that he was just too small for the swaddle because he broke out of it EVERY time. So I stopped using it for about a month thinking maybe now that he’s bigger it’ll work better. Nope! He breaks out of it way too easily because of the excessive fabric. If you have a strong armed little one I Would not recommend.

Thank you for the honest feedback. We're sorry to hear HALO SleepSack swaddle wasn't your favorite. One last tip is to try swaddling him arms out; he'll still get the comforting wrap around his tummy, but have his arms free if he's prone to movement or breaking out.

This swaddle sack was alright, but there are a few issues that made us retire it. - The wrap/velcro bit is bulky, and would leave a lump either on baby's back or on his side that could push him over. - Short; our little guy quickly ran out of room for his legs at about 3 weeks old. - Not the softest material. Not scratchy, but not as soft as other swaddle sacks we tried.

The snuggle-like effect of the Velcro swaddle panels, even used when both arms are out, seemed to contribute to her feeling of comfort and security.

These have helped us get into a better nap schedule, and helped our girls sleep through the night! Couldn’t recommend more :) we love them. Wish they made them for adults.

I’m sorry but this thing stinks. It’s not long enough. My baby is on the taller side for a 1 month old, but he shouldn’t be busting out of the bottom of the 0-3 size. He can’t even straighten his legs. On the flip side, the velcro wrap part is entirely too big. Wraps awkwardly around his entire torso. Way too much fabric and it’s just bunchy. Unfortunate because it’s a nice concept, just not made correctly. Make it longer and the velcro part shorter and it would be great.
