Hamburger Helper Cheesy Hashbrowns is a great option for starving people who love cheese and don't really care about texture. The water failed to fully absorb into the dehydrated potato, so the bite reminded me of a noodle that hadn't quite reached al dente yet. The sausage bits did not make up for this, as it had a similar mouth feel to brittle jerky. Perhaps letting it sit in the microwave for a few minutes after the beep would help this, but I'm not willing to buy another serving to test my theory. I also mixed in about 1/4 more water than it said on the box, as it was way too thick for my liking before. None of this stopped me from devouring the entire thing though. As I mentioned before, it's great for staving people. Overall, 2.5/5 stars. Closer to 2.

It was easy to make in the microwave and I could see myself keeping these on hand when I’m running late for one of my son’s games to eat in the car. The flavor was excellent and the sausage added a hit of spice to it as well. It was filling without being too filling. I’d definitely purchase this with my own money.

But, after trying them I wasn’t impressed. They weren’t bad, but not good either. The rehydrated potatoes had a slight crunch to them still, which I didn’t like. The cheese flavor was good, but the sausage pieces also tasted different than what I’m used to. I believe this could be a great product, but this one wasn’t my favorite.

All you had to do was add water and microwave. I was not a big fan of the cheddar flavor. That is my own personal opinion. The texture was a little weird. I almost feel like it would be better if you added a little bit of milk at the end after you've cooked it. Just make it a little creamier. Overall, for those who don't like to cook, I feel that they would really enjoy this. But I am one that likes to cook a lot and I like to use natural ingredients. This is a fun, easy alternative, especially for a college dorm situation. Or an elderly person. I personally would not buy it again but I would refer it to a friend for something to try.

It is fantastic for someone on the go, if you work in an office and have access to a microwave, or even for travel. This would be easy to throw in a suitcase for a vacation or work trip. The cheesy hashbrown and sausage was delicious and taste tested by everyone in our family. Even my 6yo daughter liked it! This was a good size portion for 1 as a full meal, or could be shared by 2 kids or as a side. I was very impressed at how good this tasted and is a far better breakfast option than most items you would have in a grab and go situation. While it isn't just like normal cheesy potatoes from an oven, for what it is - a quick microwave meal - it is fantastic.

The texture was like real hash browns. It wasn’t too salty I just found it a little more cheesy than I personally like but all in all it was good and I did taste a hint of sausage.

The sausage is definitely not as big as it looks in the pictures. After microwaving as directions stated the hashbrowns were still a little hard. It honestly just turned into a thick mush to be honest. Flavor wise it is good but probably something I wouldn't buy again.

However, the texture wasn’t the best, and the hashbrowns or a little bit hard, and didn’t have the soft crispy texture I was hoping for. It was a very easy to cook and took very quick.
