This is awful! I remember how this used to taste back in the 90’s and this is FAR from that taste, used to be so flavorful , I had to add my own seasonings to it and even then it tasted a bit bland. I even added hot sauce…it tasted a little better but…I’ll never buy this again!

My whole family has been raised on Hamburger Helper Beef Stroganoff... I started with the regular version but switched to the Deluxe version when it came out. I saute 16 oz of sliced mushrooms in 2-3 tbsp butter, then pull the mushrooms out and leave the mushroom broth in the pan... I use 4 cups whole milk, and I add 1 tsp of garlic powder and 1 tsp of onion powder. I never use water when making this; I substitute a cup of sour cream (we REALLY like sour cream!) for the 1/2 cup water. The sour cream goes in last, right before serving. I let it simmer for a couple of minutes to take the chill off

This does not even taste close to what it used to. I also recently tried the cheeseburger helper a few weeks ago and the same they do not have any flavor anymore, it used to be a favorite for my family, sorry to say we will not be purchasing again.

The Beef Stroganoff flavor is enjoyable, but take a good close look at the Nutrition Facts! Who gets by just eating 1/3 of a cup of the prepared dish for dinner or supper! That only amounts to a measly few bites! Even one cup's worth per person could be considered skimpy by some folks' standards. Imagine tripling the sodium content to get a reasonable size supper serving; that would mean 1590 mg sodium there! Hamburger Helper Beef Stroganoff is definitely NOT recommended for people on sodium-restricted diets!

I hate hamburger helper. I remember when I was younger enjoying it but now its just not it. I gave 2 stars because sometimes it does just come in handy when you need to make something quick and easy but I only make it if I absolutely have to. Id much rather have a lot more clean up making everything from scratch than use these lol

I absolutely love using these, especially with my 17 year old brother who is picky with food. He loves meat and pasta, I make this with some veggies and it’s a great meal. I would definitely recommend this for meals where you don’t have a lot of time but you want something filling and tasty.

Holy Grail. My bonus babies love when I make this! I add sour cream freshly cooked mushrooms, finely chopped onion and bell peppers. It tastes great and there’s never leftovers. Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning, cheddar cheese and parsley to the top.

Have the boxes gotten smaller? I would say so! Hamburger Helper is a pantry staple, like Mac & Cheese. A classic that everyone has when a quick easy meal is needed. I am not fond of very many of the options of these meals, but this one is something the whole family will eat.
