I cooked ground beef first and then added everything. It was convenient to make. However, the flavors were awful. It was the worst mac & cheese kind ever. It does taste like cheeseburger as advertised, but I just think the flavor and mac & cheese don’t go together. My family all had one bite and we had to throw it away. It was such a waste to use ground beef for this. If you really love cheeseburger flavor and cheesy/greasy mac & cheese, you should try it, but otherwise don’t waste your money even if this is a good value.

In the last few years, I think they changed the recipe and I no longer enjoyed it at all. I recently got another box after a few years of being on break and I'm happy to report that it is much better. It's not the same as the original, and the portion has definitely gotten significantly smaller, but it was good. For those nights that you're busy and don't have a lot of time or energy, this is a simple meal that is family friendly and pretty good. I serve mine with a side of vegetables and I feel it's a pretty decent meal.

But I feel like the flavor of the product has changed. It didn't tastes much like cheeseburger and the cheese don't taste the same.
