Country of Origin
In this time of attempting to avoid US products, I checked the package to see whether this product is made in Canada with Canadian apples. The package says "Made with imported ingredients". Which tells me that Motts is concealing the country (or countries) of origin. If it were made in Canada with Canadian apples, I would certainly buy this regularly. But with the concealment of origin, I will regularly not buy this product;.

Mott's Unsweetened is worth the switch from regular apple sauce.
Love the unsweetened variety. I eat apple sauce everyday with cereal or alone. I'm not really an apple fan anymore so this works well for me. Mott's costs about $1.00 more than Good & Gather, but I believe it is worth the extra $1.00 and they often go on sale two for $5.00.

They don't require refrigeration, and they are easy to take on the go. They're sweet, but naturally so. They do not contain additional sugar. I would definitely get these again! This is a favorite snack, not only for my younger kids, but my older ones. Sugar-free, packed up so it's an easy addition to a lunch box, and delicious. Texture is nice and the flavor is neither too sweet nor too tart.
