Love the applesauce and especially NO added sugar, however folks are correct in saying the container is a pain, flat side would be WAY easier to scrap out all the product… like seriously please get a new container.

The picture here barely shows that there are deep horizontal depressions in the side of the containuer, but look closely and you'll see them a little. They are deeper than they look in the picture. I know Target is quite into design, and there's only one reason for these depression lines. They prevent you from getting all the applesauce out of the container. That makes me dislike Target overall and honestly, this annoying design feature has me thinking whether to give my business to Target at all. Now that I've noticed this, I'll probably notice it abou other items, as well.

I used to buy the Musselmans unsweetened, but you got rid of that so I switched to Good & Gather. The actual product is fine, but the jar design is terrible. With the big grooves around the bottle there is so much product waste.

applesauce itself is great however the expiration date on mine was February 22, 2025 and it had mold on it this September!! i had it stored tightly in the fridge so im not sure what happened :( expiration date should be updated or applesauce shouldn’t go bad

Good to have in the fridge for sudden hunger without having to fire up the nuclear reactor. A special heart to whoever packed it with plastic bag, tape so that the jar would not pop in transit, do not think that your good work goes unappreciated. The applesauce itself is good, no poisons, only citric that you get in oranges or lemons. I like to add a can of frozen orange juice to the jar.

Love the applesauce, hate the container! The applesauce tastes great and has minimal ingredients. However, the ridges in the container make it very difficult to get all of the applesauce out. Because of this, at least a serving of applesauce goes to waste. We will buy a different brand next time to avoid the waste.
