My child is able to do subtraction on their own, but doesn't have facts memorized. This learning tool should help with quick recall. So far pattern recognition was learned while playing with this.

It looks simple but it can be fun like a game. It is easy to clear the answers by pressing the side button and she loves that part. She has used this multiple times and is learning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have loved playing with this subtraction practice board. My son is only five but is advanced for his age. We have worked on addition before a little but this was honestly our first introduction to subtraction and this board made things easy and fun. After playing and practicing with it several times, my son has even taken it out to show family members his new board and skills when they come over. The included book/pamphlet also provided helpful tips and exercises. The board quality is also great and I can tell it will be long lasting. It's also not too big and no loose parts, so it can be brought in the car easily. The only downside is that since it is set up in a pattern of numbers- my son sometimes will just say the answer to an equation without really paying attention to the actual equation because he now knows the pattern. Overall this is a really nice, quality learning tool that we will continue to use and play with. Perfect for parents, homeschoolers and teachers!

It was nice visually using it with my son rather then just using a pencil and paper. The buttons were easy to press on and didn't stick. The board itself is a good size so it's not too bulky to store for easy use getting in and out of drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool is really cool for helping children learn subtraction. My only concern is the fact that the problems in a column all have the same answer. My daughter quickly figured that out and "hacked" the board and knew the answer to each problem despite the fact that she didn't ACTUALLY know the answer. I think they should be mixed up on the columns instead of in a straight row. That might make sense for multiplication but not really for subtraction.
